Continuing Education Credit
- Medical CMEs are provided by Alaska Regional Hospital, which is accredited by the Alaska State Medical Association to sponsor continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Conference attendees can earn 15 CME
credits for attending the entire conference, including the dinner symposium. CMEs are designated in Category 1 of the Physicians Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Participants should only claim the hours that they attended at the conference.

- To discuss the management and prevention of anaphylaxis, including the dietary approach to food allergy.
- To provide an overview of Vitamin D, including its nutritional importance and its role in treating and managing asthma, allergy, eczema, urticaria and other skin conditions.
- To discuss the controversy and risks associated with the use of long-acting beta agonist (LABA) medicines for managing asthma in adults and children.
- To discuss and debate the symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and management of difficult cases involving asthma and allergy.
- To discuss the impact of hereditary angioedema on the immune system and new therapeutic strategies that produce improved outcomes for afflicted families.
- To review the role of information technology to remain current in respective fields of medicine, including techniques to optimize reading and Internet use.
